Cappadocia is a land of extreme beauty, combining a unique and beautiful nature with a fascinating cultural and historical past. Hittites, Byzantines and early Christians established important landmarks here, as did mother nature with her stunning erosion of the soft volcanic deposits.

The deep canyons and lush fertile valleys provide our balloons with an ideal playground for a unique and memorable flight, gentle winds carry us over places that could never be reached except by balloon.

WALKING ON THE GROUNDS OF ANATOLIA

DAY 1 ANKARA

Arrival at Ankara, transfer to hotel and overnight. (D)

DAY 2 ANKARA - CAPPADOCIA

After breakfast drive to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations with an outstanding Hittite gallery. Continue to the Ataturk Mausoleum. The Mausoleum's main chamber soars skyward from its Hittite column supports. Drive to Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

DAY 3 CAPPADOCIA

Departure from hotel, after breakfast, for Uchisar fortress the whole region unfolds below. Walking in the valley pigeon up to Goreme Village and visit Goreme Open Air Museum with its rock cut chapels decorated with frescoes dating from the 6th to the 12th century. After lunch visit Zelve open air museum and Avanos village. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

DAY 4 CAPPADOCIA

Visit the underground city in the morning, hike in the beautiful Ihlara Canyon and Caravansary on our way back. Lunch in the canyon at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

DAY 5 CAPPADOCIA

After breakfast visit of Devrent Valley and Urgup and than after lunch half day Red valley hike (5 km) covering one of the most attractive valleys of Cappadocia. At the end of the hike in Cavusin, we go back to starting point and enjoy the sunset with Cappadocian wine. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

DAY 6 CAPPADOCIA - KONYA - ANTALYA

Early departure for Konya. Visit the mausoleum of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi and his dervishes. Continue to Antalya. Dinner and overnight in the region. (B,L,D)

DAY 7 ANTALYA - PERGE - ASPENDOS

First stop is Perge, where St. Paul preached his first sermon. We find here antique ruins of a huge theater with impressive marble relive work, fountains, stadium, watch towers, a colonnaded steam bath, agora and basilica. Drive to Aspendos theater is the best-preserved theater of antiquity, with seating for 15,000. Still used today, the theater's galleries, stage decorations and acoustics all testify to the architect's success. Near by stand the remains of basilica, agora and one of the largest aqueducts in Anatolia. Lunch in the area and than transfer to your hotel or the yacht for one week optional blue cruise. Dinner and overnight in Antalya. (B,L,D)

DAY 8 ANTALYA / .......

After breakfast fly to Istanbul and connection to your international flight. (B)
