TERMS AND
CONDITIONS FOR SALES AND RESERVATIONS (e-commerce)
|
RESERVATION:
Should be made no later than 45 days prior to
departure to guarantee the departures of your choice. Reservations less than
45 days will be accepted with full payment.
INDEPENDENT TRAVEL RESERVATIONS:
Request should be made at least 60 days prior to departure.
DEPOSIT:
For all tour bookings, including independent travel arrangements, at least a credit card information is needed (Name on Card, Card Number and Card expiration date) or incase of absance of a credit card a deposit of %25 per person is required. Deposits must be received within seven days of reservations, which will be confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit by Cherokee Tourism and Travel
PAYMENT:
All payments must be made in US Dollars. If returned unpaid within 30 days before departure, the reservation may be cancelled. Payments can be made by wire transfer to Cherokee Tourism and Travel account or by safe (SSL) Credit card internet Online Payments through our web site. Payments by credit cards will be applicable 45 days before departure with the authorisation of the amount and the amount will be captured 30 days before departure after your confirmation to our Proformo Invoice. Less than 30 days before departure reservations due to your confirmation our Proformo Invoice the amount will be captured.
CHILD DISCOUNTS:
Children under 12 years of age sharing their parents` room receive a discount of %15 off the per-person double occupancy rate.
CANCELLATION:
A non-refundable $100 per person cancellation fee applies to all booking under deposit. If a booking is cancelled more than 31 days prior to departure, full payment is refunded. If a booking is cancelled between 30-15 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of %25 of total price per person applies. For cancellation made 14-8 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of %50 of total price per person applies. No refund is possible for cancellation-received seven days or less prior to commencement of tours, or for those who fail to participate in tours. In case of proven excuses such as Force Major, Acts of God, Doctor's Report full refund may apply except for cancellations one day before or departure date . Therefore, it is strongly recommended that trip cancellation insurance to be purchased. %100 cancellation fee applies for the reservation cancellations of blue voyage trips or %50 cancellation fee applies for cabin charter reservations less then 45 days prior to departure. No refunds will be applied for the cancellations less then 30 days prior to departure for cabin charter reservations. Group Travel Reservation (15+ people) cancellations are N/A
RESERVATION CHANGES:
Request for changing received in writing 31 days or more before departure will be honoured, The reservation changements during 30 days and less before departure are subject to an administrative fee of $50 per person.
REFUND FOR UNUSED ARRANGEMENTS:
There will be no refund for any tour service not used.
DOCUMENTS:
Your final documents , Invoice ,vouchers , including final itinerary, air tickets (if you purchased an air/land package) and general information will be forwarded (E-mail/Fax/Post) approximately 3 weeks prior to departure.
AIR TICKETS:
If you have purchased a land only package in conjunction with a published airfare, cancellation penalties, up to the full cost of the air ticket, may apply. Please check with your Travel Agent.
PASSPORTS, VISAS:
All citizens traveling overseas require valid passports, valid for the duration of your trip. Your travel agent may assist you in obtaining a passport and visa. All passengers are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas and other travel documents. Please also remember to check your visas, since some visas are issued with specific travel dates.
Nationals of the following countries can enter Turkey with a valid passport; a tourist visa is not required:
A. Up to three months:
Germany, Argentina, Barbados, Denmark, Morocco, Fiji, Finland, France, South Korea, Iran, Switzerland, Iceland, Jamaica, Japan, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Malaysia, Monaco, San Marino, Singapore, Chile, Trinidad, Tobago, Tunisia, Vatican City, New Zealand, Greece, Ecuador, Sweden, Bolivia, El Salvador, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (only passports of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region), Israel, Uruguay
B. Up to two months:
Croatia, Romania, Bosnia - Herzegovina, Macedonia
C. Up to one month:
Kazakhistan, Kyrgyzistan, Costa Rica, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan
Nationals of the following countries require a visa:
A. Up to three months:
Nationals of Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Brazil, Holland, Malta, United States of America can obtain a sticker visa at the border.
B. Up to two months:
Albania, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine can obtain a sticker visa at border gates.
C. Up to one month:
Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Greek Cypriot Administration, Jordan, Moldova, Norway, Serbia and Montenegro, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan can obtain a sticker visa at border gates.
D. Up to fifteen days:
Georgia
E. Miscellaneous:
Nationals of all other countries require a visa, which can be obtained from the nearest Turkish Embassy or Consulate.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
We strongly recommend that you obtain travel insurance. Policies are available to cover loss or damage to your luggage, medical needs certain travel-related accidents and expenses if you must cancel your trip, consult your travel agent.
AIRLINE CLAUSES:
The airlines concerned and their agents and affiliates are not to be held responsible for any act, ambition, or event during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft. The passenger ticket in use by said airlines, when issued will constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of these tickets and/or passengers. These tours may be sold in conjunction with the services of any IATA airline. The carriers concerned are to be held responsible for any act, omission, or events during the time passengers are not on board their conveyances. The airline passenger tickets, when issued, shall be the sole contract between the airline and buyer of these tickets.
TOUR PRICE INCLUDES:
Professional Tour Manager:
Your friendly, knowledgeable tour manager accompanies you for the complete surface itinerary and any on-tour cruises or flights. Your tour manager is there to take the worries out of your holiday.
Accommodation:
Cherokee tour uses many world famous hotels. All hotel rooms have private bathroom and showers. Some of our tours visit small towns with only simply hotels, which are best available. Though simple, these hotels are still new and comfortable, with private bathrooms, restaurants, etc. Listed hotels of the tour programs may be changed due to the availability and unexpected changes of the itinerary with the same or upper category hotels where available.
Meals:
Most meals are included in your vacation price. You can have a full breakfast for the Continental style. Meals are a la carte where possible, but some will offer choice from a pre-planned menu. Regional cuisines are often featured at special lunch and dinner parties. Tour or activity prices indicate meal plans such as Half Board (Breakfast+Dinner), Full Board (Breakfast + lunch + dinner), Bed & Breakfast
Transportation:
All surface transportation while on tour is included whether by coach or cruise. Some tours may include domestic air transportation.
Hotel/Airport Transfers:
We urge you to use our recommended flights for which transfers are provided. If you arrive earlier, you may wait for the transfer.
Luggage Handling:
Handling if two pieces of normal sized luggage is included on internal tours. (32kg.) If you wish, you can carry a flight bag with you. Be sure to have luggage insurance.
Other Services:
Also included a selected entertainment, special events, sightseeing excursions, Entrance fees, and local guides, service charges and VAT which is currently %18 - %25, any changes in the tax ratio will be reflected to the rates without prior notice.
SINGLE TRAVELERS
Rooms:
Hotel accommodations are based on two people sharing a twin bedroom. We have to charge a supplement for single travellers to cover the hotel single room rate. Some hotels have specific rooms for singles, which may be smaller and not as well located.
Share room:
We offer assistance in arranging room shares, but cannot guarantee that one will be available.
PACKAGE & GUARANTEED DEPARTURE TOURS:
For Guaranteed tour departures there is no minimum participant requirements but for package tours minimum of 20 participants required.
SIGHTSEEING & EXCURSIONS:
Sightseeing and excursions are outlined in each itinerary. All entrance fees to places of interest visited are included, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish-speaking and other major world languages professional tour managers accompany each group.
CHILDREN POLICY:
Generally children under 5 years of age are not accepted to the activities in order not to disturb the other participants. Children under the age 18 can't participate in the activity unaccompanied by an adult. This procedure is an international base rule, which indicates the frontier of acceptance as a self-driven person in the eyes of the public law. Persons under the age 18 cannot be accepted as a tour member unless he or she is traveling with his or her elders.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & SMOKING POLICY:
Customer is generally required to take the valid visas of the countries, which will be visited because visa requirements are restricted under the national laws of the countries. The operator can't accept the responsibility but visa procedure services can be provided with a required fee. A valid passport is also required for the customer. There is no smoking while in vehicles operated by Cherokee Tourism and Travel. Frequent stops are made so that smoking breaks may be taken outside vehicles.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Cherokee Tourism and Travel acts solely in
its capacity as marketing agent on behalf of its principles, Cherokee Tourism
of Travel Guniz Sokak No:29 Kavaklidere 06700, Ankara, Turkey. Cherokee Tourism
and Travel shall not be held responsible for any wrongful or negligent act or
omission by any supplier or other party not directly owned or controlled by
Cherokee Tourism and Travel or by the failure of any equipment operated by any
such supplier or other party. Cherokee Tourism and Travel shall not be liable
for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property or otherwise, in connection
with any accommodations, transportations or other services, resulting directly
or indirectly for any acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown
of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether
or not declared, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, theft, pilferage's,
epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, defaults, delays or
cancellations of or any changes to itineraries or schedules, or from any causes
resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visas or other documents.
Neither Cherokee Tourism and Travel nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries
shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability
sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned
causes. Cherokee Tourism and Travel's responsibility to passengers carried in
vehicles and air craft for transfers and excursions and tour is governed by
the laws of the respective countries in which the tours take place and no other
country. All claims are subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts of the
country in which the cause of action arises. The right is reserved the substitute
hotels and cruises ships and to alter itineraries. The right is also reserved
to cancel the tour prior to departure. If any tour is cancelled prior tops the
passengers' joining the tour, Cherokee Tourism and Travel is liable for a refund
of Monies received by Cherokee Tourism and Travel. Cherokee Tourism and Travel
is neither responsible nor liable for defaults of those not directly under the
control of Cherokee Tourism and Travel. The traveler assumes complete and full
responsibility for, and hereby Releases Cherokee Tourism and Travel from, any
duty of checking and verifying and all passport, visa, vaccination or other
entry requirements for each destination, and all safety and security condition
during the length of the proposed travel. By embarking on his/her travel, the
traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved such travel, whether expected
or unexpected. The traveler is hereby warned of the aforementioned risks as
well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions,
and is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them, which
is available at extra cost throughout any travel agency. Complaints about service
(s) should be addressed to Cherokee Tourism and Travel Guniz Sokak No:29 06700
Kavaklidere-Ankara-Turkey in written not later then 10 days of completion of
service (s).

Rules And Regulations
For Cherokee Tourism and Travel Internet World Wide Web Site Cherokee Tourism and Travel (CK Tourism Co. Ltd), its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Cherokee Tourism and Travel") requires that all the visitors to our site on the World Wide Web (the "Site") adhere to the following rules and regulations. Cherokee Tourism and Travel reserves the right to revise these Rules and Regulations at any time and users are deemed to be apprised of and bound by any changes to these Rules and Regulations.
VIOLATIONS OF RULES AND REGULATIONS
Cherokee Tourism and Travel reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law and in equity for violations of these Rules and Regulations, including the right to block access from a particular Internet address to the Site.
ACCESS TO PASSWORD PROTECTED/SECURE AREAS
Access to and use of password protected and/or secure areas of the Site is restricted to authorized users only. Unauthorized individuals attempting to access these areas of the Site may be subject to prosecution.
USE OF "COOKIE" FILE FEATURES
